AS Schöler GmbH, based in Witten, has been active in the field of refractory anchoring systems and stud welding technology since 1980. The family-owned company develops, manufactures and distributes metallic anchors such as corrugated anchors, flat anchors, brick anchors, insulation pins, threaded studs and special parts as well as welding studs for all stud welding processes – arc stud welding with ceramic ferrule and shielding gas, short-cycle stud welding (short-cycle) and capacitor discharge stud welding. Production is carried out in heat-resistant and stainless steel versions, among others in materials 1.4841, 1.4828 and 1.4301, with anchor lengths up to 500 mm. The product range also includes accessories and wear parts for stud welding guns. The offering is complemented by application engineering consulting, operator training according to DIN EN 14555, preparation of procedure qualifications, calibration of stud welding equipment, maintenance and repair as well as short- and long-term rental systems. Since 2012, Ossenberg & Piepenstock GmbH in Hemer-Ihmert, which manufactures wire bending, grinding and turned parts, has been part of the company as a wholly owned subsidiary. The products and services are exported to over 50 countries worldwide and serve all industrial sectors, in particular plant engineering and refractory lining.

AS Schöler has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1999; the current certificate (ZDH-ZERT GmbH, Reg. No. Q1 0818014) covers the manufacture and distribution of refractory anchoring systems as well as the distribution and maintenance of stud welding systems. Calibration of the stud welding equipment is carried out in accordance with DVS 3009 Annex 1 (Beiblatt 1).
