ASAHI MACHINERY EUROPE GmbH is a 100 percent subsidiary of ASAHI MACHINERY Ltd. of Japan, a manufacturer of flatbed die-cutters. Based in Mülheim-Kärlich, the company is a service partner for machine projects, service assignments and spare parts supply for ASAHI and NANTAI flatbed die-cutters on the European market. Flatbed die-cutters are manufactured by the parent company ASAHI Japan; alternatively, machines from the Chinese production partner NANTAI Precise Machinery are offered, built to Japanese design. The best-known machine types are the AP 165 flatbed die-cutter (Lap Feeder), AP 1700 (Top Feeder) and AP 2100 (Technical Feeder). Services include machine sales with technical consulting as well as layout and detailed planning, spare parts supply, technical assistance, maintenance and training. The target group is primarily the corrugated board and packaging industry.
