About ASAMER
ASAMER is a family-owned company based in Ohlsdorf (Upper Austria) with around 300 employees, active as a manufacturer of gravel, stone and concrete along the entire value chain. The company operates nine concrete plants, seven of its own gravel pits, and a quarry in Meidling im Tale (Lower Austria), where chippings, railway ballast, hydraulic engineering stone, road gravel and fill materials are produced. In addition to standard ready-mixed concrete, ASAMER develops special and high-performance concretes, including concretes with integrated surface design, special colouring and controlled hydration heat to prevent cracking. A dedicated construction waste processing facility converts brick and concrete residual masses into reusable products; mobile processing plants enable the reuse of old concrete as concrete aggregate, especially in motorway renovation. The portfolio is complemented by earthworks services such as excavation, demolition works, hydraulic engineering, rock riprap as well as landfill operation and renaturation of former gravel extraction areas. Its own fleet of truck mixers, concrete pumps, dump trucks and special transports ensures on-time delivery of construction sites in the catchment area.
