About us
ASANUS Medizintechnik GmbH, headquartered in Neuhausen ob Eck near Tuttlingen, develops and manufactures ultra-precise surgical instruments and sterile goods container systems for hospitals. Its second core business is the logistics software ASANUS BarCon with integration of RFID chip technology (ARIS) for sterile goods reprocessing (CSSD/AEMP) and operational supply logistics. The family-owned company implants RFID chips into surgical instruments (splintTag) and sterile goods containers (assetTag) and uses its software to control robotic, fully automatic supply logistics. Customers include Charité Berlin, Universitätsklinikum Detmold, UKSH Kiel/Lübeck and Universitätsklinikum Halle. In 2017, ASANUS received the Innovation Prize of the State of Baden-Württemberg for BarCon and ARIS as an exemplary Industry 4.0 solution. The company operates worldwide and also offers repair services as well as module and portal solutions.
