Ascon Trading GmbH (Ascon Group) is an independent, privately managed trading company based in Hamburg that has been active in international trade in crude oil and refined petroleum products since 1984. Its core business is the trading of refinery derivatives and coal, supplemented by spot, short-term and long-term contracts for customers on international markets. For more than a decade, Ascon has also been active in metals and minerals, including exploration, procurement and trading of coke, coal, bauxite, scrap metals and non-ferrous metal concentrates.
