About ASD Aluminium Systemtechnik
ASD Aluminium Systemtechnik GmbH in Bochum has been manufacturing system solutions from aluminium system profiles, CNC-machined parts, waterjet cuts, conveyor technology and automation solutions since 1999. On a 2000 m² production area at the A40/A448, single pieces, prototypes as well as small and large series are produced – from design through CAD/CAM programming to complete assembly of assemblies. In profile technology, ASD offers over 200 MayTec aluminium system profiles with stable connection technology and accessories from stock in Bochum. CNC machining includes 3- and 5-axis milling (X up to 1050 mm, Y up to 600 mm, Z up to 600 mm), turning up to 500 mm length, and bar machining up to 3500 mm. With waterjet cutting up to 4600 bar, materials up to 120 mm thickness – including hardened steel, plastic, wood and stone – are cold-cut with cutting accuracy better than 0.1 mm. In addition, ASD implements lean tube systems, belt conveyors, plastic modular belts and roller conveyors, as well as system integration of Techman AI cobots up to robot operation. Surface finishing and heat treatment are carried out by partner companies. Customers come from mechanical engineering, special machinery construction, the automotive, aerospace industries, medical technology, electronics, the packaging and consumer goods industries, research, logistics and tech startups.
