ASG Aerospace manufactures and surface-treats complex metal components and assemblies for customers in aerospace, defence, semiconductor technology and scientific applications. The company grew out of a precision manufacturing tradition founded in 1846 and today operates seven sites in the UK and Germany, including the Bremerhaven site Ludolph W. Feinmechanik und Maschinenbau Nautik in the Fischereihafen. The value chain ranges from engineering and precision machining on long-bed and short-bed machines to NADCAP-accredited surface treatment (TSA up to 5.8 m) and non-destructive testing, through to assembly in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom, 3D metrology and automation. Typical products include flight control components, actuators, engine parts, structural components such as wing ribs, semiconductor chambers built to Copy-Exact standards, and components for marine magnetic compasses. Customers include OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers such as Boeing, Rolls-Royce and GKN Aerospace; a Speed Shop serves AOG and urgent demand.
