About Asglatex
Asglatex Ohorn GmbH is a mid-sized manufacturer of technical textiles based in Ohorn, Saxony. Its main in-house products are glass fibre mesh or reinforcement fabrics for facade systems in ETICS/EIFS, complemented by accessories such as rendering profiles, corner angles and base profiles as well as reinforced and heat-resistant technical fabrics for heat, fire and welding protection. The entire value chain takes place at the Ohorn site: from warping beam production in the warping shop, through weaving of the mesh fabrics, impregnation and coating (styrene-butadiene copolymer), to finishing, winding and packaging, all process steps are under one roof. The fabrics are characterised by high tensile strength and alkali resistance and are available in various colours and with customised printing. Founded in 1922, the company employs around 50 people, has been part of the Polish CB S.A. since 2011 and has belonged to the international Ondura Group since 2020. Customers come primarily from the construction industry (facade systems), the insulation sector, and heat and welding protection.
