Materials and Processes
Rolling bearing steel 100Cr6
Through-hardened material for spherical plain bearing inner rings, steel balls and rolling bearings.
Stainless steel (corrosion-resistant)
For the corrosion-resistant Niro-Line rod ends, bearings and housed bearing units, e.g. in the food industry.
Free-cutting steel
Base material for rod end forks and rod end housings, usually galvanized.
Heat-treatable steel
Forged housings for highly stressed motorsport rod ends.
High-performance bronze
Steel/bronze sliding pairing for maintenance-intensive rod ends and bearings.
PTFE sliding foil
Maintenance-free steel/PTFE sliding pairing with metal fabric for maintenance-free versions.
Grey cast iron
Housing material for pillow block bearings, flange bearings and take-up housed bearing units.
Stainless cast alloy
Stainless casting for housed bearing units in food and wet areas.
Tungsten carbide coating
Coating of steel balls for wear-resistant applications.
