ASKION GmbH specializes as an OEM partner in the development, manufacture and service of complete devices as well as optoelectronic and precision-mechanical modules. The company realizes new device ideas from the concept through laboratory samples and prototypes to production transfer and series production. Development covers system integration of optics, mechanics, electronics and software: optical design with ZEMAX (beam shaping, laser and LED illumination, fiber-optic assemblies), mechanical design with SolidWorks including FEM structural analysis and thermomechanical simulation, electronics design with Altium Designer, and software development from application software through PLC and microcontrollers to Embedded Linux. Manufacturing capabilities include assembly, dust- and ESD-protected optical assembly, commissioning, testing, and procurement with more than 100 certified suppliers. Core focuses are bioanalytical and medical devices and assemblies for medical technology, diagnostics and optics. Manufacturing is FDA-audited; the company is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.

Manufacturing is FDA-audited and certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
