About ASKOMA AG
ASKOMA AG was founded in 1967 and develops and produces custom products for the HVAC market with around 45 employees. The portfolio includes screw-in and flange heating elements for heating drinking and heating water, also as a power-to-heat solution for surplus PV electricity (ASKO HEAT + 2.0), as well as a broad range of electromechanical and electronic thermostats. Manufacturing services include the production of heat pump controls and boiler switch panels for heating manufacturers, cable and wire harness assembly to customer specifications, custom air preheaters and air heaters, and the construction of plastic housings. Injection-moulded parts and housings are produced at the company's own plant in Malaysia. As a certified testing body, ASKOMA issues certificates in accordance with EN 60335-2-21 and offers certifications according to DVGW, SVGW and ÖVGW. The heating elements for drinking water are made, among other things, from Incoloy 825. The main site with production, administration and development is Bützberg in Switzerland, and a certified production site exists in Herzogenbuchsee. Customers include energy manager and inverter manufacturers as well as well-known heating manufacturers; sales are handled through partners, among others in Europe and Malaysia.
