ASM Alfred Schläger Metallwaren GmbH develops and produces custom mailbox systems, locker systems, mail distribution systems, valuables compartments as well as special systems such as pharmacy systems, medication and key pickup boxes and security mailboxes. The family business, founded in 1984 by Alfred Schläger in Gerabronn (Baden-Württemberg), manufactures on approximately 1,200 m² of production floor space with CNC-controlled machines – including punching/nibbling machines, press brakes, a drawing press, a stud welding machine and an engraving machine. A specialty are deep-drawn compartment doors made of galvanized sheet metal with rounded, burr-free edges, which can be produced from a quantity of just 1 piece. Materials processed include aluminium, galvanized sheet, steel and stainless steel (also V4A); powder coating is done in the company's own coating plant, and ASM additionally offers anodizing of aluminium front panels and engraving. Systems are delivered in all mounting types (door side panel, surface-mounted, flush-mounted, wall-through, free-standing) and are inspected before delivery. Customers include residential construction, architects, metal construction firms, pharmacies, banks, authorities and commercial clients; distribution is direct from the manufacturer with its own spare parts service.
