ASM Automation Sensorik Messtechnik GmbH, headquartered in Moosinning near Munich, develops, manufactures and sells sensor solutions for measuring distance, angle and inclination. Founded in 1979, the company is an innovation and development center for mechatronic high-tech sensors; at its headquarters, technology-leading products are created in collaboration with users and research institutes. The product portfolio comprises seven product lines, including draw-wire and draw-band position sensors, magnetostrictive and magnetic sensors, magnetic angle sensors and multiturn encoders as well as MEMS-based and gyro-compensated inclination sensors; in addition, infrared sensors, measuring devices, transmitters and tracking measuring instruments are offered. Typical applications can be found in mechanical engineering, for example in plastic injection molding machines, printing machines and power plant construction. ASM is represented through its own subsidiaries in the USA and the United Kingdom as well as a network of more than 50 representatives worldwide. The quality management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
