Assemtec GmbH, based in Sankt Wendel, is an electronic manufacturing services (EMS) provider for electronic modules. The company acts as a full-service partner and extended workbench for contract PCB assembly: the portfolio includes SMD placement on a modern JUKI line, THT placement of wired components and mixed placement, supplemented by reflow and wave soldering, BGA placement and BGA rework. In addition to manufacturing, Assemtec handles device assembly, cable assembly (including Faston and special connectors) and potting of assembled components. For quality assurance, automatic optical inspection (AOI), stereo microscope workstations, functional tests and in-house test and measurement stations are available. Electronics manufacturing is RoHS-compliant. Beyond production, the company supports customers with component logistics, materials management and parts management via a modern ERP system, as well as development work, consulting and after-sales service. Production is designed for one-off manufacturing up to small and medium series quantities. Reference projects come, among others, from audio and professional sound technology (voice alarm systems, studio monitors, DSP sound generation), stage and lighting technology, marine applications (Oil Mist Detection System Navy) and from research (wave field synthesis, TU Berlin).
