ASSMANN Electronic GmbH was founded in 1969 in Lüdenscheid and, as part of ASSMANN Holding GmbH, is an internationally operating provider of server, network and peripheral infrastructure products. At the headquarters in Lüdenscheid, the company manufactures and assembles network and server racks as well as splice boxes in-house (Assembled in Germany). The product portfolio of the DIGITUS brand, established since 1994, includes network and server racks, installation cables and accessories, active and passive network components, ergonomic workplace equipment, audio/video and digital signage signal transmission solutions, as well as e-mobility products for charging infrastructure. Distribution is worldwide via IT distributors, system integrators, electrical wholesalers, eCommerce and corporate resellers. Under the umbrella of the holding company, alongside the German company, ten further subsidiaries are united in Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Croatia, Poland, Turkey, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. In addition, the company offers digital services such as the tendering tool ePlato, the product content platform ABRAM, BMEcat/ETIM master data and OEM solutions.
