Association "La Chevêche"

About the society

The Association "La Chevêche" is a non-profit society from Marseille founded in 1995, focused on ornithology and bird protection. The society is affiliated with the Fédération France Nature Environnement and is committed to regional nature conservation. Its activities include lectures and conferences, a members' magazine (Bulletin), as well as joint excursions and photo sharing among members on topics of ornithology and nature observation. Occasions such as participation in the Salon du Champignon in Les Milles or the anniversary event celebrating 30 years in October 2025 – with a film screening of "Aigle de Bonelli" – round out the program. The society is based at the Maison de Quartier d'Eoures in the 11th arrondissement (postal code 13011) of Marseille.
