About ASTA

ASTA Energy Solutions AG is a manufacturer specialized in copper, providing solutions for energy infrastructure with over 210 years of engineering experience. Among other products, the company manufactures continuously transposed conductors (CTCs), which are used in high-voltage transformers, industrial generators and data centers. Production is carried out with precision in the micrometer range, particularly for insulation; development is done in small lot sizes, while production is serial. In-house copper recycling in the upcasting project "ASTA recycles" has been returning copper scrap into the production cycle since 2022. Customers include Hitachi Energy (Dogger Bank offshore wind farm), Siemens (Vectron locomotives) and operators of the Suedlink HVDC project. The group operates six production sites in Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, India and China.
