About ASTES4
Founded in 2013, ASTES4 is a manufacturer of sheet metal working systems specialized in intelligent automatic parts sorting with in-house hardware and software development. As a Group Company of Mitsubishi Electric, the company is an official partner for Mitsubishi Electric Laser in Italy and Europe and integrates their fiber and CO2 laser machines (GX-F series) with its own FMS cells. The portfolio includes automated sorting systems (SORT XL, SORTPRO), loading/unloading systems (SkyWay), multi-tower storage systems (StoreGo) as well as the SortCAM software with ERP compatibility and traceability. The patented 4-head Cartesian grippers with automatic 360° tool change (vacuum and magnet) handle up to 100 kg per gripper. ASTES4 manufactures FMS cells for sheets up to 4,050 x 2,060 mm and up to 25 mm sheet thickness, delivers worldwide and manages projects from technical consulting to commissioning. Headquarters are in Balerna (TI), with a further site in Vimercate, Italy.
