About Astor-Berning
ASTOR-Berning is an international specialist in coated buttons, buckles, belts, and upholstery buttons, as well as buttons for the fashion and upholstery industries. This family business, founded in 1919 and now in its third generation, works with metal and also supplies blanks, eyelets, upholstery, binding systems, button parts, paper dies, finished buttons, and pneumatic nailers including clips. Production is carried out on proprietary ASTOR machines, such as the Universal Machine A 5 (approx. 200 buttons/h), the manual A 53 (approx. 500 buttons/h), and the pneumatic A 5415 (approx. 1,000 buttons/h). The scope of services includes a coating service, electroplating, assembly, packaging and shipping, as well as the distribution of machines and tools for button, buckle, and button manufacturing. The assortment includes more than 65 button models and more than 135 buckle models; upholstery buttons are available in sizes from 12.5 mm to 38 mm. Products are supplied through distribution partners on five continents, within 48 hours in the EU. Head office is in Paris, products Made in Germany.
