About ASTOR Schneidwerkzeuge
ASTOR Schneidwerkzeuge GmbH is a medium-sized family business founded in 1994 by Bernd Marquardt and based in Storkow (Mark), Brandenburg. The company manufactures and supplies high-quality machine knives and blades for the food industry, including sickle-shaped slicer and cutting-off knives, bowl cutter knives, flat knives, circular knives with diameters from 75 to 750 mm, pneumatic knives as well as bowl cutter heads, meat grinder parts, injector needles, and packaging and grid knives. Products are made from high-strength knife steel, tool steel and corrosion-resistant material, also to drawing, sketch or sample. The service portfolio further includes sharpening, re-toothing to original or customer specifications, repair including restoration of concentricity, bevels and coatings, balancing, and crack testing using fluorescent magnetic particle technology. The blades are compatible with machines from numerous international manufacturers such as LASKA, SEYDELMANN, MULTIVAC, WEBER/TEXTOR, BAADER or BIZERBA and are shipped worldwide. Since 2012, Michaela Marquardt has led the company in the second generation; in 2024 it invested 2.3 million euros in modern production machinery.
