ASTORPLAST Klebetechnik GmbH has been producing technical pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes and self-adhesive products for over 60 years – exclusively at its headquarters in Alfdorf, Swabia. The value chain includes in-house adhesive formulation, the coating of roll-shaped substrate materials with acrylic dispersion, hotmelt and UV acrylic, as well as converting, including custom printing, packaging and sizing. The basis is a broad portfolio of adhesives, liners and substrate materials as well as standard products, from which customer-specific solutions are developed. As a development partner, Astorplast supports customers from initial contact through to series production; production runs on a 3-shift basis. Key markets are air and windtightness in construction (adhesive and sealing tapes for roofing and interior finishing), profile technology for extruded plastic profiles, and Heating and Ventilation (pressure-sensitive adhesive solutions for closing insulation materials). The company is part of ASTOR Holding AG (Switzerland) and supplies customers throughout Europe.

Quality assurance takes place in an in-house laboratory; apprentices are trained there in addition to adhesive formulation, coating and converting.
