About Astris SA

Astris SA is an independent, family-owned Swiss lubricant company based in Giornico (TI), founded in 1980 by Nicola Franchi. The company manufactures a broad range of synthetic and mineral engine oils, gear oils, automatic transmission fluids (ATF), hydraulic fluids, industrial oils and biodegradable lubricants. Applications include passenger cars and commercial vehicles, construction and agricultural machinery as well as industrial lubrication. Astris produces to customer specifications and as a private-label partner, from the 1-litre can through drums up to the 1000-litre IBC and tanker trucks (bulk). An in-house laboratory performs analyses and quality controls of products and raw materials, including used oil analyses. Supply is exclusively to wholesalers and resellers; logistics including just-in-time production and direct shipping in the customer's name are part of the service portfolio. Many products are officially approved by major OEMs.
