Engineering for Oleochemistry
AT Agrar-Technik Int. GmbH is an internationally active engineering company that plans, develops and delivers customised process plants for oleochemistry. The portfolio includes greenfield plants as turnkey EPC projects, retrofits of existing biodiesel and oil processing plants regardless of the original supplier, strategic consulting as well as research and development in its own laboratory. The core of the technology is a multi-feedstock process for transesterification and esterification, which converts vegetable oils, used cooking oils (UCO) and animal fats into biodiesel according to EN 14214 and ASTM D6751. In addition, there are plants for pharmaceutical-grade glycerin distillation according to Ph. Eur. as well as processes for the treatment of fats and oils including Annex IX-compliant feedstocks. Since its founding in 1982, more than 30 plants have been planned and delivered to over 30 countries worldwide. The integrated engineering team covers all essential disciplines and handles industrial projects of varying size and complexity — from technical and economic requirements analysis to on-schedule commissioning.
