About ATB Nordenham
ATB Nordenham GmbH develops, manufactures and distributes products in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering with a focus on drive technology, in particular electrical machines as well as power supply, control and regulation equipment. The company belongs to the ATB Group, which has been part of the Chinese WOLONG Group since 2011 and, according to its own statements, is one of the European manufacturers in the drive technology sector with around 6,500 employees. At the Nordenham site, the value chain covers development, assembly, painting and shipping; in 2013, a new assembly hall, a paint shop and a shipping centre were put into operation. The ATB Group's sales network consists of its own branches and sales partners worldwide. The roots of the plant date back to 1949, when Felten & Guilleaume took over the former Weserflug site in Nordenham; as an independent company, it was registered in 1989 as F&G Antriebstechnik GmbH.
