About ATB Nordenham GmbH
ATB Nordenham GmbH was founded in 1952 and is a mid-sized company based in Nordenham, specialising in the manufacture of explosion-protected electric motors. With over seven decades of experience, the company produces low-voltage and medium-voltage motors in frame sizes from 56 to 500 – with or without flange, vertically or horizontally mounted, with or without feet, with terminal box or direct cable entry. The motors are available as energy-efficient IE3 and IE4 versions, in water-cooled, axially ventilated and fanless variants, with add-on or built-in brakes and encoder mounting. A flexible production and assembly department enables customised adaptations to special operating conditions, including versions to NORSOK and to the VIK standard for the chemical industry. A team of engineers and technicians develops innovative and efficient drive solutions together with customers. The motors carry the common certifications ATEX, IECEx and CCC and are therefore suitable for worldwide use, especially in explosive atmospheres.
