About ATE
ATE (Alsace Techniques Étiquetage) is a family-owned company founded in 1989 and based in Uberach in Alsace, specialized in die-cutting (rotary die-cutting), printing and converting (laminating) of self-adhesive and non-self-adhesive technical parts. On 6,500 m² of production space, the company processes around 700 raw materials such as technical films (including Nomex®, Tyvek®, Kapton®), foams, papers and high-performance double-sided adhesive tapes into labels, protective and masking films, gaskets, electrical, thermal and acoustic insulation, rating plates and cable identification. Production is carried out in small and large series in multi-shift operation (5x8, 7/7, 24/24), partly in an ISO-7 cleanroom (ISO 14644-1). ATE supplies customers from mobility/automotive, agri-food, healthcare, electronics, construction, energy, communications and logistics in 23 countries; three quarters of revenue is generated through exports. Since July 2018, ATE has been a Tier-1 supplier to the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi group and holds the 3M Preferred Converter label. Production follows FMEA, 5S and PPAP with 100% camera inspection.
