About ATECH
ATECH Antriebstechnik GmbH was founded in 1987 by Christl and Helmut Gäbelein and today employs around 40 people at its Mehring site in Upper Bavaria. The company develops, manufactures and assembles drive and motion systems for battery-electric and hybrid vehicles: complete drive units consisting of motor, gearbox, controller and battery, steering controllers, chargers, as well as special products such as the mobile DC charging station 4e and the ePTO-m power take-off system. Fields of application include warehouse trucks and industrial vehicles, airport apron equipment (GSE), agricultural and construction machinery, cleaning and sweeping machines, rail vehicles, ships, automated guided vehicle systems as well as stage and event technology. Another pillar is pitch systems for electric blade adjustment of wind turbines between 1 and 6 MW, including in-house motor manufacturing. As a German- and English-speaking premium partner of the ZAPI Group, ATECH sells and integrates their components (including ZAPI, Zivan, Inmotion, Best Motor, Delta-Q, Flash Battery, Albright) in the DACH region. Its value chain also includes repair, retrofit/electrification of existing fleets, a test field for component testing as well as on-site service and remote maintenance.
