About Atelier Claudia
Atelier Claudia is a sole proprietorship of porcelain painter Claudia Ploß, based in Coswig (Anhalt) in Saxony-Anhalt. The focus is on commissioned painting on porcelain: individually painted plates, portraits, birthday plates or event cups made to customer specifications. Work is done with overglaze colours (firing colours), which allow practically all shades; the colours are applied with various brushes, quills and painting tools. The painted pieces are then glazed in the studio's own workshop and fired in the kiln (firing time around 24 hours) and, on request, delivered to the customer. In addition to commissioned painting, the studio offers painting courses for adults, school projects on the craft of porcelain painting, children's birthday parties with porcelain painting and face painting, as well as a mobile studio in which the porcelain painter comes to the customers with all materials. The work is aimed at private customers, gift shoppers, event organisers and educational institutions.
