About Atelier Werner Kunz
Atelier Werner Kunz was founded in 2016 by Maike and Anni in the St. Arnual district of Saarbrücken and has been located at Feldmannstraße 6 since 2020. The name goes back to a historic advertising sign from the 1950s discovered on the façade of the original building on Saargemünderstrasse. The atelier offers a painting school for kids & teens, workshops on screen printing, stamp carving, printing and punch needle, as well as a sewing atelier. In addition, the team realizes creative school projects and events as well as art projects with cooperation partners such as Saarländischer Rundfunk and the Cultural Office of the state capital Saarbrücken. In its own small manufactory, handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces and products in small batches are produced, especially from textiles. Sustainability is a particular concern of the atelier.
