About the Atelierhaus
Das Atelierhaus of Atelier137 GmbH is a pottery and ceramics studio in the historic village centre of Oeschgen in the Fricktal region (Canton Aargau). Housed in a quarried-stone building from 1906, the studio offers wheel-throwing and hand-building pottery courses for beginners and advanced participants: taster, intensive, evening and weekend courses as well as private and group courses. The offering is complemented by workshops with international guest instructors, an open studio for independent work and tailor-made corporate team events for companies. The studio is professionally equipped with electric Shimpo potter's wheels (RK55 and Whisper T), a KITTEC ceramic kiln (Type X 170 S), tools, glazes and storage areas for unfinished work. The catchment area covers the Fricktal, the Aargau, northwestern Switzerland and, thanks to the proximity to the border, also southern Germany.
