About Atesos Medical AG
Atesos Medical AG is a privately managed Swiss manufacturer of orthopedic implants based at Schachenallee 29 in Aarau. Founded in 2009 by experienced endoprosthesis specialists, the company develops and produces hip implants and instruments for hip endoprosthetics – from the cementless Pyramid hip system to cemented stems and the Unas short stem, as well as hip cups, revision cups, ceramic femoral heads and surgical instruments. Uncemented titanium implants are provided with a two-layer surface coating of pure-titanium vacuum plasma spray (Ti-VPS) and a dicalcium phosphate thin layer that supports osseointegration. Atesos manages the entire value chain from development and production through logistics and sales to the support of customers and distributors. Since 2015, the company has operated its own logistics center in Germany for the EU market; six countries are supplied with more than 33'000 procedures. Customers are hospitals and clinics in the medical technology industry, particularly in hip endoprosthetics.
