About Atinkana Coffee

Atinkana GmbH, based in Dübendorf near Zurich, sells coffee from permaculture cultivation in the cloud forests of Colombia. The beans come from partner farms, are harvested in semi-shade, hand-selected and processed using the washed process. Transport is by sailing ship from TOWT across the Atlantic – 'sailed, not motored'. In Switzerland, the beans are freshly roasted and sold via the online shop, the company's own store in Dübendorf, retail, gastronomy, and as office coffee. In addition to coffee, the company also offers cocoa. The range includes three roasts, tailored to preparation methods such as moka pot, pour-over, fully automatic machine, French press and pads. Barista workshops are regularly held under the title 'Taste the Journey'. The project relies on regenerative agriculture, agroforestry and reforestation.
