Made-to-measure door systems from South Tyrol

ATP Business GmbH markets its door systems under the ALPGATE brand and manufactures custom-made industrial doors for industry and architecture in South Tyrol. The portfolio includes folding doors, sliding-folding doors, sliding doors, facade doors, revolving corner doors, hangar doors, partition systems and special made-to-measure doors, complemented by fire department doors according to DIN 14092 as well as burglar-resistance doors in resistance classes WK2/RC2 to WK4/RC4 and bullet-resistant versions. Every door is manufactured to measure at the St. Lorenzen/Montal production plant near Bruneck; the constructions are made of steel, galvanized profile sections, stainless steel V2A, aluminium, corten steel, wood, ESG/VSG safety insulating glass and sandwich sheet panels. The value chain ranges from laser cutting of self-supporting substructures to hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating in RAL colors to in-house machine building for door drives, with delivery and installation including substructures offered. With more than 30 years of experience in industrial door construction, ALPGATE supplies customers in Germany, Austria, South Tyrol, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom; references range from AIRBUS Ottobrunn to fire stations, substations and clinics to logistics centers and shopping centers. Sales and service locations are located in Ulm (Germany) and Ebreichsdorf/Vienna (Austria).

Materials and processes

S235

Steel

Highly stable steel structures enable door heights up to 10 m and the use of heavy infill panels.

V2A

Stainless steel V2A

Used for corrosion-critical components such as pins, bearings and screws as well as thermally separated glass frames.

EN-AW

Aluminium

Used for perforated sheet infills, ventilation louvers and lightweight partition systems.

GS

Corten steel

Aesthetic material for weather-resistant folding doors without additional coating.

FG

ESG/VSG safety insulating glass

Glazing up to 5 m in height without horizontal mullions, including solar control glazing and stepped glass.

SP

Sandwich sheet panels

42 to 46 mm thick infill panels for insulated doors with high stability.

FE

Hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating

Corrosion protection for doors in aggressive environments, combined with RAL coating.

LASER

Laser cutting

Manufacture of self-supporting, laser-cut metal substructures.

LH

Larch/spruce (wood)

Natural material for cladding and door infills in architecture and agriculture.

TP

Thermally separated steel profiles

Special glazing with thermal separation achieves U-values of 1.5–1.6 W/m²K.

BR

Bronze bushings

Hinge components for low-maintenance, long-lasting door movement.
