About Attrappen Döring
Attrappen Döring GmbH manufactures food replicas (fake food) made of plastic. The product range includes over 2,000 different products, such as fruit, vegetables, baked goods, meat and sausage products, cheese, ready meals as well as drink and glass replicas. Production is entirely manual: each piece is individually cast in a silicone mold, cured in an oven, finished and colored using a brush and airbrush technique. A soft PVC compound and PU foam are used; silicone is used for mold making, and in some cases real glasses are also incorporated as product components. The items have original-weight material properties, are light- and shape-resistant up to 80 °C, washable and manufactured without cavities. Customers are butcheries, bakeries, confectioneries, gastronomy and hotels, the packaging industry, vocational schools and nutrition consulting, film, theater and photography. Production takes place exclusively at the Paunzhausen site; sales are made exclusively to businesses, commercial customers and authorities.
