ATZWANGER is a family-run plant engineering company founded in 1932 with its headquarters in Bozen-Bolzano. The company designs, manufactures, installs and operates turnkey plants in five business divisions: waste technology (digestion, incineration, recycling), energy technology (district heating, combined heat and power), pool water technology (swimming pools, thermal baths, water parks, hotels), drinking and wastewater technology (wastewater treatment plants) as well as building and HVAC technology. The value chain includes technical design and plant planning, welding fabrication to ISO 3834-2, plant installation and commissioning as well as service and maintenance including a 24-hour emergency service and remote maintenance. With around 250 employees ranging from designers to installers, the group realizes about 130 projects per year, predominantly as customized single installations. In addition to its headquarters, Atzwanger maintains branch offices in Munich, Salzburg and Baar as well as ATZWANGER Ecomaster in Santa Maria la Longa (Palmanova). Reference projects include wastewater treatment plants in Bozen and Meran, the Bozen hospital as well as hotel and tourism facilities in South Tyrol and Brandenburg.
