AUDIA AKUSTIK GmbH develops and manufactures custom otoplastics for hearing aids, custom-made hearing protection and individual in-ear solutions at its site in Sömmerda, Thuringia. For more than 30 years, the company has combined handcrafted custom work with digital manufacturing processes. Based on ear impressions or digital scans, fitted pieces are produced from acrylic, Fototec, silicone and titanium – including two silicone hardness grades (25 and 35 Shore) for the swim protection AUDIA SWIM. Hearing care professionals, engineers, technicians, CAD modelers and electronics specialists work together on fit, wearing comfort and acoustic function. More than 3,000 hearing care partners in Europe rely on the products, which are manufactured under DIN ISO 13485. In addition, AUDIA offers digital ordering processes, training and marketing materials for hearing care professionals.
