Aufzug- und Fördertechnik Niggemeier & Leurs GmbH is an owner-managed family business founded in 1973 and headquartered in Bottrop. The company modernizes, maintains and repairs elevators of all manufacturers and makes – including passenger, freight, goods, stretcher and car elevators – and realizes new installations individually from a single source. Its range of services also includes elevator emergency call and entrapment release, elevator attendant service, inspection support, and the maintenance and repair of power-operated doors, lift tables, barriers and two-level parking systems. With 63 employees from electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and administration, more than 50 service vehicles and a 24-hour breakdown service, Niggemeier & Leurs serves customers in the Ruhr region and along the Rhine within a 100 km radius of Bottrop. Since 1998 the company has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001, making it one of the first certified elevator companies in Germany. The acquisition of Schmoley Aufzüge Bottrop expanded the business to include door and gate systems.
