August Brötje GmbH, headquartered in Rastede (Lower Saxony), has been developing and manufacturing heating and thermal technology for residential buildings, commercial applications and institutions since 1919. The portfolio includes heat pumps, gas and oil condensing technology, solar thermal systems, storage tanks, system and control technology, and flat-panel radiators; products can be combined into hybrid solutions. Flat-panel radiator production has taken place at the Augustfehn site since 1966 in several fully automated process stages, including a welding line and a pre-treatment and dip-painting line for steel flat heating elements; several hundred thousand elements are produced there annually. The company is part of the international BDR Thermea Group and employs 550 staff at the Rastede, Augustfehn and Haar sites. Sales are handled exclusively through the wholesale partners GC, G.U.T. and Pfeiffer & May; in addition, BRÖTJE offers a nationwide factory customer service, maintenance, training at its own academy, and digital tools such as the Home Komfort App.
