About the Wedding Ring Manufactory August Gerstner

August Gerstner Ringfabrik GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1862 by Max Gerstner in Pforzheim and is today family-owned in its sixth generation. The company manufactures wedding rings, marriage rings and engagement rings including solitaire rings with diamond settings. The entire value chain – from in-house alloy production through blank manufacturing to assembly, design and stone setting – takes place at the single site on Calwer Straße in Pforzheim. The rings are machined on modern CNC machines, refined by laser printing/engraving and subjected to a hardening treatment; highly qualified goldsmiths carry out the handcrafted finishing. Only recycled precious metals (gold, palladium, platinum) from RJC-certified refineries and conflict-free diamonds under the Kimberley Process are used. Marketing is exclusively via jeweller partners, worldwide and in multiple languages.
