August Mink GmbH & Co. KG (Mink Bürsten), headquartered in Göppingen, develops and produces technical brushes and custom brush systems for industry and mechanical engineering. Founded in 1845, the company manufactures strip brushes, round brushes, disc brushes, belt brushes, design brushes, antistatic brushes, spreading rollers, plate brushes and fixing brushes as well as special solutions. The brushes are used for applications such as sealing, cleaning, deburring, dissipating static charge, washing, spreading, fixing, carrying, transporting and guiding. Production takes place in five production plants at the Göppingen site; annual capacity is in the range of millions of technical brushes with more than 250,000 variants. Customer industries include, among others, sheet metal and wood processing, wind power, converting, automotive, control cabinet construction, food, pharmaceuticals as well as agriculture and forestry. In-house development and design services include custom-made products, such as the Mink Slide-Brush for small-part conveying in vibratory conveyors, which was awarded the Innovation Prize of the District of Göppingen. The products are delivered worldwide.
