August Wenzler Maschinenbau GmbH is a family-run mechanical engineering company founded in 1954 and headquartered in Spaichingen; since 2009 it has been part of the HELLER Group. The company develops and manufactures 5-axis machining centres for machining large, complex and vibration-prone aluminium structural components, in particular die-cast parts in the Giga/Mega-Casting field. The production technology portfolio includes the vertical chamber machining centre WV 8000 (formerly VKM), the horizontal 5-axis machining centre WH 10000 for large-format die-cast workpieces, the VPM principle for components such as battery housings, as well as transfer and multi-spindle technology. In addition, Wenzler offers engineering services from workpiece development to series maturity, clamping and support strategies, robot-based automation, assembly technology, cylinder bore coating (CBC), as well as service and MDE/BDE interfaces. Customers are located in the automotive industry and e-mobility sectors in Europe, Asia and America.
