About Augusta Buntmetalle
Augusta Buntmetalle GmbH is an owner-managed recycling company based in Lannach near Graz with around 40 employees. The company specialises in the dismantling and processing of copper and aluminium cables as well as electrical and electronic scrap. At its own plant in Lannach, cables are fully automatically separated into their components on two dismantling lines; a self-developed system also processes thin stranded cables fully automatically. Electrostatic post-treatment of mixed fractions achieves higher separation and recycling rates. In addition, complete demolition projects of power plants, industrial facilities and switching centres are offered, including sorting, mechanical processing and recovery. Small deliveries are accepted via the Vienna location (E. K. Altmetall Recycling GmbH). The processes are certified to EN ISO 14001, and a modern dedusting system exceeds legal requirements. Customers come from industry, power generation, transport companies, municipalities and the trades.
