About us
AUHORN - Transformatoren e.K. is a family-owned business in Kempten (Allgäu) that has been designing and manufacturing dry-type transformers, chokes, power supplies and inductors since 1988 – now run by the second generation. The entire value chain is handled in-house: from calculation and design through engineering and manufacturing to final inspection. The company serves customers from various industry sectors of electronics and electrical engineering and manufactures both standard transformers and custom designs; according to the manufacturer, even large production volumes are produced at short notice. As a project partner, AUHORN supports its customers from development to market launch. The transformers are equipped as standard with the UL insulation system "AUHORN 155" and are available with UL/CSA approval.
