About Aumann Baustoffe
Aumann GmbH & Co. KG is a building materials dealer based in Petershagen, founded in 1953 by Kurt Schröder as a building materials wholesaler. The product range covers building materials for structural construction, civil engineering, roofing, landscaping and interior finishing, including facing bricks, autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, mortar, insulation materials and tiles. The offering is complemented by a builder's merchant store with tools, personal protective equipment and building components, as well as door, tile and laminate showrooms. An in-house marble cutting shop cuts natural stone such as marble to size, including for window sills; the company also maintains an extensive natural stone warehouse. Deliveries to construction sites in the local region are made with the company's own vehicle fleet. As a shareholder of the Zentraleinkauf Paderborn central purchasing organisation, the company sources most of its articles together with partner retailers and additionally imports goods from international markets. The company premises on Bahnhofstraße offer 12,000 sqm of outdoor storage space and 4,000 sqm of covered storage space. The business is run in its second generation by Renate and Wilhelm Lange.
