About Aumann Holzwerk
Since 1994, Aumann Holzwerk GmbH has been one of the leading suppliers of quality construction timber in southern Germany. At the Ziemetshausen site near Augsburg, solid structural timber KVH NSi to DIN EN 15497:2014, glulam BSH Si + NSi and duo/trio beams to DIN EN 14080:2013 are produced from spruce, fir, larch and Douglas fir. The raw material is gently kiln-dried to installation moisture, and gluing is carried out with low-emission, formaldehyde-free PU adhesive. A modern machine fleet, extensive storage capacity and its own trucks enable fast and flexible deliveries. All timber is length-optimised and picked to customer requirements; on four Hundegger cutting lines (K3i, K2, K2i, Speed-Cut), the company also offers contract cutting to produce ready-for-assembly timber. Each individual piece receives a batch marking with order number, cross-section and length. Wood residues are used energetically in the company's own biomass heating plant, and wood shavings are turned into bio-wood briquettes. The company is PEFC-certified (HW-PEFC-CoC-0106-23) and a member of the Überwachungsgemeinschaft Konstruktionsvollholz e. V. with external monitoring by MPA Stuttgart.
