Our AURORA World
AURORA is an international manufacturer of HVAC units and components for on- and off-road vehicles headquartered in Mudau (Baden-Württemberg). The company develops and manufactures heating and air-conditioning systems for buses, agricultural, construction and forestry machinery, military, special-purpose and recreational vehicles – from heat pumps for e-mobility to roof modules and cab air-conditioning systems, as well as blowers, convectors, heat exchangers, piping systems, control panels and electronics. Unlike many competitors, AURORA manufactures its core components in-house: sheet metal working, tube bending, soldering and welding, a fully automatic plastics injection molding shop and electronics manufacturing are all part of in-house production. Product development encompasses calculation, simulation (CFD, CAD), software development, prototype construction and validation in its own test facilities. Around 400 employees at five sites in Germany, the Netherlands, the USA and Turkey supply customers on all five continents. Since 1990, AURORA has been part of the publicly listed INDUS Holding AG.
