About Aurora

Aurora Mühlen GmbH is a distribution company based in Hamburg (Trettaustraße 49) and, as a subsidiary of GoodMills Deutschland GmbH, is responsible for the traditional Aurora flour brand. The company focuses on the production and distribution of staple foods from the product fields of flour, semolina and baking mixes. The product range includes flours with different extraction rates made from wheat, rye and spelt (including types 405, 550, 1050, 1150, 630 as well as wholegrain and cracked-grain variants), soft wheat and durum wheat semolinas, and bread baking mixes for bread and cakes. Approximately 277,000 tonnes of grain have been milled annually at the Hamburg Aurora Mill since 1895. Careful grain selection, a special milling process and modern quality assurance ensure the quality standard; the production facilities are certified to the International Food Standard (IFS) at higher level. Apart from fine flour, the milling process also produces products with varying degrees of fineness and individual baking properties.
