About Aurum Engineering
Aurum Engineering GmbH was founded in 2008 by Achim Ruß and Ulf Meinke and carries forward more than two decades of experience in hoist and suspension control systems for television studios. When a leading German manufacturer in this field withdrew, the company took over the continuation and support of these control systems and developed a new generation of modular Suspension Control Systems – as replacements for outdated installations as well as part of new studio projects. The portfolio also includes monitoring and control systems for drinking and hot water supply, end-of-line test systems for components and printed circuit boards, industrial control systems and fieldbus systems, embedded systems for railway technology, and control systems for professional lighting, studio and theatre technology. All systems are designed to the standards Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, DIN 56950-2 and DGUV V17 (formerly BGV C1) and include maintenance, support and monitoring. The company is based in Grafing near Munich and works in German and English.
