Auto-Kuhn is an automotive master workshop and car dealership in Wall-Warngau (Bavaria), founded in 1969 by Reiner Kuhn as a one-man business. As a medium-sized family business, it offers the complete range of services relating to motor vehicles: from acceptance through maintenance and repair to final inspection. The company has been a Scania contract partner since 01.01.2003 and was later certified to DOS. Commercial vehicles, passenger cars and buses of all makes are repaired and maintained, as well as Unimog, construction machinery, trailers and semi-trailers. Further services include accident repair with its own straightening bench and laser axle alignment, tyre and wheel service, air conditioning service, windscreen repair as well as inspections under §29 StVZO by TÜV and DEKRA, emissions testing, safety inspection, tachograph inspection and UVV (accident prevention) inspections. Company History
- 1969
Reiner Kuhn opens a workshop in Wall as a one-man business.
- 1972
Foundation stone laid for a new building, as the converted garage with grease pit had become too small.
- 1970er
Contract with Hanomag-Henschel, later with Mercedes-Benz; gradual staff expansion and apprentice training.
- 2002
On 01.01.2002 the workshop was handed over to Georg and Hubert Kuhn.
- 2003
Scania contract partner since 01.01.2003; later certification to DOS.
