About Auto-Mate Robotics
Auto-Mate Robotics is a spin-off of the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) based in Biel/Bienne. The company develops the no-code platform Mate-Ware with the PrograBlock module, which enables employees without robotics or programming knowledge to program and adapt industrial robots for various manufacturing tasks. The platform uses pre-programmed skills that cover around 95% of common manufacturing tasks and integrates simulation, visualization and an image processing system for part recognition, quality control and pick-and-place. In addition, the company offers the Mate Cell, a compact, mobile robot cell available in three sizes, which can be operated independently of the manufacturer with robots from various manufacturers. Typical tasks are assembly, palletizing and quality control in high-mix/low-volume production at SMEs. The portfolio is complemented by consulting, process analyses, feasibility studies, profitability and risk analyses as well as training; the software is also used in schools and universities for education.
